For all our visits to Grand Cayman, Max had never been to Stingray City. We remedied that by chartering "Cap'n Chris" to privately take us out to the sandbar for the afternoon.
1 The sandbar at Stingray City is only 3-4 feet deep in some places. Chris took us out there privately for an awesome afternoon. Max got into the water and started feeding squid to the stingrays that started swarming us.
2 Stingrays don't have teeth, just cartilage grinders and lots of suction. Maxine gets some smooches and hickeys from a hungry stingray.
3 The stingrays are velvety soft and can be petted like friendly dogs.

13 After the sandbar at Stingray City, Chris motored us back to an area in the North Sound where he dove for conch. Here he is using a hammer and a knife to get it out of its shell. Gives new meaning to the term "cracked conch".
