We signed a contract for downsized new construction in Essex, CT before we left for Hawaii in May. So after our return, Max's Bat Mitzvah, and the July 4 holiday, we put our home of 24 years on the market. It took us several weeks and the disposal of two 15 cubic yard dumpsters worth of accumulated crap to get the house in show condition. We then had it professionally staged and photographed for the listing. We wish it had looked this good during all the years we were living there!
