Beginning of December, Deb and Mary were visiting from Hawaii and joined us for the Union of Reform Judaism Biennial in Boston. Our congregation had a platinum delegation and Max and the Rabbi led a standing room only Friday session and Max also moderated a lunch panel on Saturday. As guests, Mary and I attended Friday Shabbat dinner (for 5000+!), but otherwise pal'ed around Boston during the first snow of the season. Mary's best friend Jane, who had recently moved from Oahu to New Hampshire, took the bus down in the snowstorm to spend the day.
